On request of the Anna Lindh Foundation, Transeuropéennes, together with Casa Arabe, the King Abdul Aziz Foundation, the IFPO, has led a two years long project to identify the main principles for the support and development of co-publishing programme in the field of human and social sciences. Some of its main conclusions are published here.
Within the frame of the “Support and Development of a Co-Editions Program”, a series of conferences and workshops have been organized in order to frame a co-edition program in the Euro-Med region, in the field of Human and Social sciences. Thanks to those collective efforts to reflect on the challenges and difficulties of such a program, both general recommendations and practical elements were drafted as a possible methodology.
Within the frame of the “Support and Development of a Co-Editions Program”, within a Euro-Mediterranean Program for Translation, a specific attention have been paid to the importance of a comprehensive dissemination plan. The following proposals have been highlighted :
